Overview
The all-in-one Lexmark X3470 printer prints, copies, scans and faxes. The Lexmark X3470 is an adequate printer for home/home office use. All that is needed is to keep it stocked with paper and ink. Installation is simple.
How to Install the Lexmark Printer X3470

Step 1
Turn on the X3470 and open the top lid to insert the ink cartridges. Make sure to remove the protective tape that covers the cartridge contacts. Close the lid. -
Step 2
Boot your computer to the desktop and plug the printer cable into an open USB port. -
Step 3
Insert the driver CD. A dialog box should appear asking you to insert the software CD that came with the printer. -
Step 4
Click "Continue" and the driver should install. If you don't have the software CD or are running the Microsoft Vista operating system, download the driver from the Lexmark X3470 support page (see Resources). After downloading the driver, double-click the icon to install it. -
Step 5
Check the printer installation by printing a test page. Click on "Control Panel>Printers>Properties>Maintenance>Print Test Page."
