Who is the god of love? Jesus Christ's still working in the hearts of men, women, and children today with love.
Isaiah 52:7 "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!"
God's love for us is proclaimed in the verse above and I can see a heavenly host of Angels proclaiming HE is risen, HE LIVES ! The Son of God Lives ! And HE is high and lifted up and HIS Glory brightens the sky!
"How lovely on the mountains are the feet of them who bring Good News, Announcing peace proclaiming joy and happiness -- OUR GOD REIGNS!"
In this world of fear and doubt one truth rings clear and announces peace that God's Son Jesus is alive and no longer hangs upon a tree. And this is what we need to do today""we need to take Jesus off the cross because He no longer hangs there. After He was nailed to the cross He hung there upon that rugged tree and then finally with a voice of triumph HE shouted "IT IS FINISHED." And at that same moment that HE shouted, the curtain in the temple of the most holy place tore in two from the top to the bottom revealing the place of the most holy for the first time to all the people. When Christ said, "IT IS FINISHED" He opened forever the way into God's presence.
Hebrews 10:19-23 "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)"
God loves you openly, without fear of shame or worry of someone laughing or scoffing at HIM. Wouldn't it be something if God came to you one night in your despair and said, "I'm sorry but you are on your own because people laugh at me when I tell them I love you." God openly bestows upon you all His love and care because to Him you are the most precious thing in the World. God does not hide you, nor does He turn His back on you so why do we hide Him and turn away from Him when others laugh or scoff at us because of Him?
God gave His only begotten Son so that you could live. God wants you to see the greatness of His love for you in all things. God said that if you would simply believe in Him you would see His love because He would give you eternal life.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
God loves us unconditionally and is not ashamed of us so we also should not be ashamed of HIM. Be not afraid to tell those you love and work with that you also love God. Be not afraid to tell those you play with that God is your friend. If you will love Him openly He will bestow upon you blessings that you will never be able to contain. He loves you openly""love Him the same!
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
God does not want us to be in fear and doubt of things around us and of situations and circumstances worrying about who will say this and who will say that to us. Worrying about who will laugh or scoff at the stance we take for HIM. God is not ashamed of our testimony so we should not be ashamed of our testimony either. We should stand strong and firm in our belief that JESUS IS LORD and that HE rules in our life.
2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. "
2 Timothy 1:8 "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord..."
Be not ashamed, Love God openly just as HE LOVES YOU!
