Can I put any kind of fish in my pond?

Not just any kind, the basic kinds of fish that you put into a pond are goldfish. There are tons of goldfish and then there are Koi fish. Those are the standards, basically everybody puts those fish in their pond.

We recommend adding bacteria, a beneficial bacteria to the pond once a week, to establish an ecosystem. That way you don't have to do so much work. What the bacteria does is it eats the fish waste itself, so you do not have to spend as much time scooping it out. A lot of people feed their fish too much. At the most, you only need to feed them around two to three times a week. You know it is already eating what is in the pond, so we are feeding that something better and than what is already in there.

Basically, multiple fish only grow to the size of the pond they are within and they will not outgrow their pond. However, Koi does. The size of the pond won't limit their growth. It will slow it down though, but eventually, they will outgrow a pond.

I see a lot of people worry about fish too much. Fish are pretty much an animal that was made for the water. Basically, you can put them in and just let them go.

People overdo it or they spend too much time adding too many chemicals. All a pond needs is just a bit of bacteria. You can add a little bit of fish medication when you see an illness or something like that. Otherwise, keep it simple.
