How to Last Longer in Bed Without Drugs

By Contributing Writer

  • Overview

If you have difficulty lasting in bed, it can take a serious toll on both you and your partner. Some men are simply prone to faster ejaculation than other men. Thankfully, there are a variety of different methods you can employ to last longer in bed. While there are an array of various prescription medications and surgical procedures available, there is also a bevy of natural approaches you can try. You don't necessarily have to use drugs to last longer in bed.
    • Step 1

Slow down. If you feel you are about to ejaculate, stop intercourse and focus on pleasuring your partner through other means. Once the intensity has subsided, return to sex.
    • Step 2

Relax. If you are worried about how long you will last in bed, you are more likely to ejaculate quickly. Try to enjoy every aspect of the encounter instead of worrying about your performance. If you do so, you will find you last longer and enjoy the experience more.

    • Step 3

Squeeze the penis firmly, directly beneath the head. This will force some blood out of the penis, thereby offsetting ejaculation.
    • Step 4

Remain on bottom during sex. When you are not on top, your muscles are more relaxed. This fact makes it less likely that you will ejaculate quickly.
    • Step 5

Make short, shallow movements during sex. Try to keep your penis in the outer third of the vagina. Deep thrusts into the vagina will encourage faster ejaculation.
    • Step 6

Do Kegel exercises. Stop your flow halfway through urination. Since you use the same muscles during ejaculation as urination, these exercises will strengthen them. As a result, you will be better able to control your ejaculation.
    • Step 7

Masturbate regularly. You are more likely to ejaculate quickly if it has been a while since your last time. You will be able to last longer in bed if you have ejaculated within the past 24 hours.
    • Skill: Moderately Challenging
    • Tip: Discuss your sexual performance concerns with your partner. It sometimes helps to simply get the problem out in the open.
