A "dinner and a movie" date just isn't enough for a thrill-seeking couple. There are lots of great date options for the adventurous couple, such as mountain biking, going to an amusement park, sky diving, scuba diving, water skiing, and scavenger hunts with other thrill-seeking couples.

Mountain bikes are like regular bicycles, except they are sturdier and far more versatile. They can go on anything from street pavement to bumpy terrain and mountain areas. If you and your significant other love adventure, then mountain biking is a great hobby to get into. You can make a date of it by visiting trails that are especially designed for mountain bikers. Mountain biking has been around since the 1970s, and it can be done in two ways: downhill or cross country. Downhill mountain biking is certainly more pulse-pounding, but cross country is a good place to start if you haven’t had any experience. If the two of you get good, you could start entering contests – competition is always an adrenaline rush.

Amusement parks are filled with fun for thrill-seekers. Roller coasters can be a real rush, and they have a romantic quality about them as well. Consider going to an amusement park on a weekday rather than a weekend – it won’t be as crowded, so you won’t have to wait on long lines. This isn’t the type of date that you will want to go on all the time, but once in a while, it is really fun to throw your arms in the air as you go down a vertical drop on a crazy coaster. You can also enjoy the junk foods and entertainment that amusement parks are famous for.

If you really want an adventure, then you have got to try skydiving. It is such an exhilarating experience. It will be an amazing memory with your significant other. If you haven’t done it before, then the two of you will each go down in tandem with a licensed diver. Make sure you are with an experienced professional, and go on a day with clear skies and good weather. If you enjoy the experience, you can continue skydiving so that you can learn to take solo dives, and so that you could eventually go together in tandem.

Scuba diving is another invigorating date idea. If you want to get the most out of scuba diving, then the two of you should get certified. This can be a great bonding experience, and when you finish your certification program, you will be able to explore underwater adventures together. Waterskiing is another fun water adventure to undertake together, and you don’t need to have any prior experience. You may not be very good at it at first (in fact, you probably won’t be), but it is a fun and thrilling experience nonetheless.

An extreme scavenger hunt is a fantastic date idea that you can enjoy with other thrill-seeking couples. Come up with some daring items to collect over the course of a few hours or even a day, such as a specific type of bird’s feather or a label from an expensive bottle of wine. If you have a weekend free, plan a camping trip for an even more adventuresome scavenger hunt.
