It is really up to the consumer. There are so many variables involved. Statistically speaking, a family or a person whether it's their first home or not will tend to be in a home somewhere between 3-5 years. So when they are getting into a home, they don't necessarily expect to be in that home for 15-20 years unless they know for a fact that they are not going anywhere. But generally speaking, especially with a starter home, the family just wants to get into a home so they have something that they can call their own. In the next couple of years they usually want to sell that and then upgrade to something a little bit bigger because families grow.
