How to Make Address Labels From AOL Address Book

By Andrea Freygang

  • Overview

If you are looking for an easy way to obtain address labels and are an avid AOL user, you can make and print labels directly from your address book. You need to be running AOL 8.0 or higher; if you do not have it, download the software from the link in Resources.
    • Step 1

Sign in to your AOL account and click on the "mail" menu.
    • Step 2

Click on the 'Address Book" tab.

    • Step 3

Select one person to make a label for by highlighting her name and address. If you would like to print labels for more than one person, hold down the Control button on your keyboard while selecting all of the relevant names.
    • Step 4

Click on the "Print" button in the lower right corner of the address-book page. This will pull up a menu asking what you want to print.
    • Step 5

Choose "Print Selected Contacts," then click on the "Mailing Labels" option.
    • Step 6

Make sure your printer is on, and that the right size labels are inserted. Then click "Print"; your labels will print out.
    • Skill: Easy
    • Ingredients:
    • Labels (Avery 5160, or others compatible with your computer and printer)
    • Tip: Consider a test run of two to three labels to make sure the machine is printing properly before you print a large number of labels.
    • Warning:
    • Using the wrong size paper and labels could cause a breakdown in the printer. Make sure everything is of the right size, and that the printer is clean and ready to go, without any obstructions.
