Step 1
Decide on the size of your locker. The design I'll discuss here can be scaled up or down as necessary for your needs. If you'll be stacking your lockers in a specific area, build them to match that spot. If you're building your locker for outside use, use pressure-treated lumber or be sure to paint or otherwise preserve the lumber.
-
Step 2
Cut two pieces of plywood to serve as the base and the lid of the locker. They should be the same size. Screw a 1-by-1-foot strip that is 3/4 inches offset from the edges. See the diagram.

Step 3
Cut side pieces to the size you wish, and attach them to the strips you've attached to the base with wood screws. Now cut end pieces and do the same for the ends of the locker. See the diagram.
-
Step 4
At the intersections of the end and side pieces, insert 1-by-1-foot strips of lumber and screw the end and side pieces to it. Leave a 1-inch gap at the top. This joins the corners and reinforces the structure. Now place corner molding (wood or metal) over the exterior of the side/end joints and attach. This further reinforces the corner joints.

Step 5
Place the top piece you prepared on the top of the locker. It should fit snuggly. Attach two hasps, one on each side, so that you can secure or lock the locker. Attach a handle to each end of the locker so it can easily be picked up. Take the lid off and caulk the interior seams with silicone sealant and allow to dry. Paint or otherwise treat the locker to your taste.
