How to Make Rubber Band Knot Bracelets

    Make a simple rubber band bracelet for teens and preteens. These knotted bracelets can be created using rubber bands of any colors. Make them in school colors or remembrance colors. You can knot up a bunch of bracelets and give them to your friends.
    Rubber band bracelets
    • Step 1

      Tie a knot in center of five to seven rubber bands.
    • Step 2

      Thread one rubber band through the loop of a second one. Fold the first rubber band so both ends are touching. Pull one end through the loop of the other end of the folded rubber band. Pull until a knot is formed.


    • Step 3

      Pull the ends to tighten the knot.
    • Step 4

      Continue knotting rubber bands.
    • Step 5

      Check to see whether the bracelet will wrap around your wrist loosely.
    • Step 6

      Cut the loop at one end. Pull both cut ends over the loop at the other end of the bracelet.
    • Step 7

      Hand tie a knot with the cut ends, closing the bracelet into a circle. Double knot for security.
    • Step 8

      Try the bracelet on. Trim the ends of loose rubber band.
