Reasons to use a hotel would include if you are going on a business trip and at the convention they provide all of the food, obviously you don't need an all-inclusive. When you go to an all-inclusive, you tend to stay more on-site. If a person wants to really travel and get out and go to different areas and see different things, and they are not going to spend all day around the pool at the resort, then I would advise them to go to a hotel. The reason I say they're not necessarily cheaper is because of the type of hotels that you have; The Hilton, The Hyatt, The Marriott, they are not low-end hotels. I would look through travel agents because we know what the up-to-date specials are. I monitor daily 100s of specials from hundreds of hotels and vendors and I may be glancing at it, but that's a lot more than a person who might take an hour on the Internet. If I were going to find out specifics about a hotel itself, I would probably go to that hotel's website and then look for that area.
