The Museum of Art just recently had a renovation and increased their space by at least 10,000 square feet. They have some absolutely wonderful permanent collections. They have a collection of art glass that's just beautiful and they've just opened a really great kid's section with a lot of hands-on interaction. We have an exhibit coming in 2006 that will display modern and historical African American art.
There's also the Gulf Coast Science Center, which is an educational museum. In 2006 they will have The Mummy: The Inside Story, which is a virtual reality exhibit from London. They take you through a 3D virtual tour inside a mummy. They call it the virtual unwrapping - they go through layer by layer with a CAT scan. There will also be a huge display of Egyptology items from the British museum in London and a couple of funeral items and you actually get to see an image of what they have come to think that the mummy looked like. They also have an IMAX theater at the center and they will be showing "Mystery of the Nile".
