The music scene here is probably somewhat limited, as compared to Atlanta. However, there are a lot of interesting things as far as the music scene goes here. We have three citizens that I can think of that have CDs that have been recorded that are either gospel CDs or traditional music. We have a young kid in high school here that's on his way to the top. His name is Brandon Barker and he recently has won some school competitions so he will go onto state competitions and national competitions. He is winning these competitions left and right and just participated in one of those mega star type things and he is doing very well. On Friday night there is local music that's being played. We have always got some great bluegrass bands here. They are going to play at some of the different venues and some of our festivals. We have something called "brown bag lunches" where there is a certain time in the month you get your lunch instead of going home or go to a restaurant and head downtown up to the gazebo and bands will be playing, a local guy with a guitar, somebody with the violin, or a Trio. We really provide more of a local music scene, which I think really gives a better flavor. It's definitely a unique experience. You wouldn't come here to find somebody totally rich and famous that you could find somewhere else. It's more of that personalized music.
