Depending on the level of service they are providing, you want to make sure the videographer is using a higher end broadcast quality camera such as Canon GL II or GL I, the XL I or II. They are more expensive and you will probably find that more expensive videographers have equipment like that. They don't all necessarily shoot better quality video than some of the other Sony or Canon cameras for the purposes of a wedding video, so you might be paying for more than you need.
The general brands to look for would be Sony and Canon and Panasonic and JVC and ask them to explain a little bit about it, why they choose that particular camera or microphone setup - that's a good question to ask. If they use two cameras, they should use two of the same cameras.
