There are numerous lounges, eating establishments, and some nightclubs with live music that people can visit. There are concert series in the downtown park as well as the local ski areas. There are live theaters downtown. Especially within the summer months, the evening activities include street fairs and art events. We do a monthly art walk downtown where the galleries open up for showcasing on the second Friday of each month. We have a large variety of dining from fine dining to family style restaurants with any type of food that you would want. We have a downtown area that people can walk and find different retail shops and restaurants along the way. That's pretty much the central gathering place. The service is friendly and the area is becoming famous. The city is historic and offers a small town flavor with big city values. There are specialty shops of every kind, including jewelers, antiques and art galleries as well as a brew pub and coffee shops in a relaxing atmosphere. There is a mall, the Silver Lake Mall, in town as well.
