Portsmouth has a terrific nightlife scene with lots of restaurants, live music, and theaters. Concord's nightlife is a little more subdued by comparison, but we do have the largest performing arts theater in the state. BB King plays there, we get some good Broadway shows, and that sort of thing. There are a number of restaurants that provide live entrainment on a weekly basis, but Concord is only a city of about 40,000 to 44,000, so it's not like Mardi Gras every night. You can always plan something, though. There's one hip hop club in town, there are art openings, and there are baseball games.
