The decor features dark walls, neon lights and an assortment of television sets throughout the club. With a remarkable setting, you will love the very long bar with stylish stools and a black and white tile floor.

For a livelier bar atmosphere, try The Clubhouse on Dolly Madison Road. This club features a dance floor and game area - mostly foosball and darts - as well as a wide variety of music. They have nightly drink special and live music adds to the fun of this great club. Favorite musical genres range from reggae and pop to rock and jazz.

To get your dance on or if you just want to check out the latest dances of the twenty something crowd, head downtown to the N Club. This club has been rated the best club to do it all - dance, drink, have fun, etc. On many nights students from the local colleges and universities frequent the N Club and enjoy the DJ's who play a diverse mix of music from techno to house to hip-hop. For the non-blast-it-in-the-ear crowd, the N Club also has an upstairs that caters to a more mature clientele.



For a more expanded scene with more people and more to offer, try the Eastern Music Festival on the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro. This music fest is held over 6 weeks every summer and features 300 professional musicians and students from the United States and abroad performing a myriad of concerts.

None can forget the famous dinner theatre and Greensboro doesn't either. Greensboro happens to have one of the oldest dinner theaters in the country. The Barn Dinner Theatre presents Broadway-type plays after a hearty buffet, complete with such dishes as roast top sirloin and baked Alaskan halibut. Dinner and performances take place Wednesday to Sunday from January through November, and 7 days a week in December, from 6 to 10:30pm.

For a more common theatre experience, don't miss a chance to visit the Carolina Theatre. The Carolina Theatre was opened on October 31, 1927 and is now a member of the League of Historic American Theatres. The theatre itself is as much an attraction as the wide variety of events. From the ornate lobby to the grand house Chandelier, you will enjoy the wonder and awe of this historic structure. The Carolina Theatre hosts a wide variety of performing arts that are sure please.

On the weekends you can laugh it up at the Comedy Zone. The Comedy Zone features some of the funniest comedians in the country. In addition to a wide range of appetizers, sandwiches and subs, The Comedy Zone also offers an extensive drinks list that includes import and exports wines and champagnes. Show times are Fridays at 8:30 and 10:30pm and Saturdays at 7:00, 9:00, and 11:00pm.The one great restriction is that you have to be 18 or older to gain admission. Admission prices are $8/Friday and $9/Saturday.

You can cap off your night with a cup of coffee at the Green Bean on Elm Street. However, this wonderful place is more than a coffee shop. Even the shop's design creates a communal atmosphere. The shop is open daily except on Sunday's and serves coffee, espresso, cake, wine and beer. Every weekend The Green Bean also showcases different bands with varying styles and has varying special to relieve the price tag a bit.
