In the downtown area, we have Molly McQues, which is a wonderful Irish pub, we have Hurricane Alley, which is kind of a Jimmy Buffet style place, and we have a New Orleans style restaurant that overlooks Munn Park. It's a central gathering place for the holidays. You can sit outside and see millions of holiday lights.
There is a wide range of restaurants including some first class restaurants like the Terrace Grow. It's was built in downtown Lakeland back in the 20s and was renovated about 5 or 6 years ago. In addition, we have a number of chain like the Texas Cattle Company which offers some of the best steaks in the area.
Several times during the year we offer free downtown concerts on Lake Mirror at our amphitheater. We also have the Imperial Symphony Orchestra in Lakeland which plays at the Lakeland Center. We have a Polk Theater offering a variety of entertainment, and we a new Lakeside Village Shopping Center which is being finished right now. It will not only have a lot of new movie theaters, but a lot of new restaurants and entertainment facilities as well.
