We have excellent dining opportunities in both Gering and Scottsbluff. We are best known for our beef, but our second best would be probably our Mexican-American restaurants. Our Mexican food is second to none in this country. We also have Italian, German, and other ethnic foods. We have several nightclubs with either country-western dancing or some of the more modern styles that I don't know much about. We have a comedy club as well as the Midwest Theater, which is a restored theater from the 1930s running classic movies. Every other year we'll have a movie festival there. We're currently setting it up to be able to show live performances as well. There is another old restored theater called The Nile Theater over in Mitchell which shows only first-run movies.
