You don't come to Martin County if you want nightlife, but we do have about a half dozen bars all within walking distance of downtown Stuart. We don't really have any 'nightclubs' per se, but many of our bars are right on the water and quite popular.
We have a great old theater called the Lyric Theater that's part of the downtown area. There's always big-named entertainment coming in. Jackie Mason has a sold out comedy gig every year. We tend to get older entertainment because we are catering to our retiree population base. It's only a 500 seat theater, but every season it sells out for weeks in a row.
