You will find that a lot of these companies are trying to make extra money when their systems aren't being used. They will have classes where you can go to create a voiceover tape. I would go to some post editing companies, recording studios, go to the trades like Back Stage or Back Stage West or go online. Look in the local Penny Saver for advertising or at the community college to see if they offer any voiceover classes. Some of these classes are usually combined with recording studio time where you learn how to get in front of a microphone and learn what it means to whisper or shout and pull yourself away from the mike so you don't overload it. I would look in the local papers. It might be hard to get what you need other than online or local college classes. It is just exposure and getting some sort of feel for it. A teacher will often lead you to the next level, but if you don't have any education on it or don't know what you are doing you need to start somewhere.
