There is the ever popular vertical blind which is pretty much what it sounds like... it is blind, it's on a track and opens to the left, to the right or from the center so that it stacks out of the way of the doors, so you can get in and out. They come in the PVC vinyl or you can also have them made in fabric louvers, fabric veins and so many other selections. The vertical blinds are very, very popular and almost the only thing that is done on a sliding glass door, but there are other options. They tend to be a lot more expensive. Hunter Douglas has a product called the Luminette and it is basically a sheer vertical... it's a sheer vertical but it lets you close for privacy. So although it looks like a sheer there are little veins of vertical blinds inside and that's what gives you privacy. Those are the beautiful. They are absolutely wonderful. Honeycombs can also be made to go on a sliding glass door. They don't do that very often now. The most popular sort of sliding glass doors are the vertical.
