Tents are the major part of most party rentals these days. The tent industry has evolved tremendously over the past few years,allowing for many more options in sizes and styles of tents available.
"Tents are great!" Krantz says. "They are a major part of most every party event today. The options in tents are amazing. There are pole tents, plain tents, and clear span tents. The materials that today's tents are made with allow you to do so much when decorating. Tents can now be equipped with liners, chandeliers and accent lighting. And that's only the beginning. Tents add a festive feel to almost any event."
The most popular option when renting tents is for a wedding. Tents that run about 2400 square feet in size are the average size for wedding tent rentals. They average about 40 x 60 feet in area. This size tent for a wedding costs about $1000 to rent.
"The biggest sized rental tent we offer is approximately 4000 square feet," Keith Krantz says. "This costs on an average of $1500 to $2000 for your typical rental. A lot of people like to add the liner film, which is almost like a parachute type material and is draped or hung from the ceiling of the tent. Pole draping is popular, and walls can be created with these same liners. The liner film for a 4000 square foot tent for a party rental would add about another 80% to the overall cost of the tent rental."
The most practical reason for opting to rent a tent from a party rental company is to protect the event and its guests from the elements. The ability to rent a tent is almost like temporarily putting up a structure that adds a giant sized room to one's home. Oppressive heat, rain, and wind, however, can put serious dampers on these festive occasions. These tents offer serious protection in these ways.
Tents allow a party or event to be centrally located, with all aspects of the event that is taking place in the same space. Tents can accommodate people for a large meal, a meeting, a wedding or service,and then can just as easily convert to become a dance floor.
