The area is very popular among birding enthusiasts. We fall under a major migratory route for a lot of birds of prey, and there are number of endangered species along the coastline. One of the particular great places to go is the Coastal Center Autobahn Center in Milford, Connecticut, which is two towns west of New Haven. There are two island clusters and one of those is the Thimble Island group. The Thimble Islands are very popular among kayakers. The waters are calm and it's a really great spot to kayak anywhere from May to October. We also have the Thimble Island Cruise, which runs every hour throughout the summer and other times of the year, on weekends only. You get on and you go through the 33 Islands that have people living on them. It's a fun tour because they have wonderful folklore.
