A UFO incident happened on July 8, 1947 in Roswell New Mexico. The press released a statement that "a flying disk" had been recovered. The press release was quickly retracted and almost disappeared until more recent history. This day was the beginning of many UFO sightings around the world.
One incident happened in Washington DC in 1952. It is believed that there is a film in existence of this incident. Air Force jets were sent out to investigate this incident.
On Thursday, November 4, 1999 a huge UFO was seen by thousands of people on a large island in the Southwestern Pacific Ocean. The UFO was estimated to be 660 feet long and 165 feet wide. It had very bright lights and they dimmed like flashlight batteries do when they are going dead. It was noiseless, oblong in shape and bright lights around the edges. All of the lights were white. One person said that when the craft hovered over them, the place around them lit up and they could see people near them on the ground as if it were daylight. It eventually disappeared over the horizon.
On Thursday, November 16, 1999 a huge green fireball flew from the east coast to the west coast of the United States. Police switchboards lit up with callers wanting to know what they had seen. The fireball lasted for twenty seconds before disappearing over the horizon. Some people described it as gorgeous, big and really long.
On Sunday, November 7, 1999 several fishermen off the coast of New Wales Australia video taped a domed shaped object. It was 100 to 150 feet (30 to 45 meters) up in the sky. The object had a orange color and had a shiny appearance. One man grabbed his video camera and filmed the object.
