Step 1
If you are a customer who receives his monthly bill in the mail, you can also pay it this way. You will need a copy of the bill, the return envelope and a stamp. The methods you can use to pay this way include a checking account or money order. Write a check for the amount due on your bill or get a money order. Place the payment and the bottom portion of your bill in the pre-printed return envelope, put the stamp on it and mail it.

Step 2
A very fast and convenient way to pay your bill is to make use of DIRECTV's website. You will have to register your account if you have never used the online payment system. You will need your account number, email and password. Register with them and then click "Payments." The payment sources you can draw on include a credit card, debit card or bank account. Click on the "One-Time Payment" tab and select the method desired. Fill in the requested details and enter the amount you want to pay. Click on the "Submit" button; verify all of the information in the Payment Summary and then click "Authorize Transaction" to submit it. If you need to make changes, click "Edit."

Step 3
You can also pay your monthly satellite bill with cash. If you have a "PreCash" card, you can use it to pay at a participating retailer. You will also have to pay a $3 processing fee to do this. You can also use cash to get a MoneyGram or utilize Western Union to pay your DIRECTV bill. The final option is to pay with cash by using an IPP (In-Person Payment) at a participating retail outlet.
- Skill: Easy
- Tip: If you are going to mail in your DIRECTV bill, make certain it is sent early enough to arrive before the due date.
- Tip: If you do not want to have to worry about paying your DIRECTV bill each month, you can set up an "Auto Payment" online to automatically do this for you.
- Tip: To find more information about paying your bill with cash, check the DIRECTV website. You will be able to find participating retailers to utilize this method of payment.
- Warning:
- Always pay your DIRECTV bill before the due date or you may incur a late fee or have your service disrupted.
