No; that is the difference between having a bareboat charter and a full time charter boat that comes with a cabin and crew. In our case, there is no additional fee. A bareboat charter is where you want to rent the 60 footer and the guy will rent it to you, but you need to hire your own captain. You don't frequently find that, but it is still out there. So you are paying boat owner a fee and then you are going to hire your own captain. Most boat owners will give you a list of captains that they feel comfortable with.

Almost everybody is in a situation where you want a trained captain, you want to have complete confidence and know that your boat and your guests are going to be safe out on the water. I probably do 60-70% of the charters myself and I have got some very trusted captains that can handle it when I am not there.
