It depends on what you are looking for. Tae-Bo is a boxing style and is more aerobic than Pilates. You don't want to come to Pilates if you want to increase your boxing game. You want to come to the Pilates to help with your agility, carriage, and placement. It's not going to bulk you up. Pilates is more like a meditative healing type of exercise. It would be more appropriate if you are not a loud type of person. Boxing may or may not improve your articulation, your spine, or your posture, so it depends on what your preference is. I couldn't say that it's better or worse than something like Tae-Bo but it will depend on what your preference is. I used to like boxing, and I bulked up. I put on 10 lbs. of muscle, but my body got stiff. I would recommend Pilates over that to keep the stiffness away. Anyone can do Pilates once a week while you're boxing the other four days. I wouldn't just say that Pilates is better.
