I would say yes. Personally speaking, my extended family has been plagued with diabetes. I find that doing Pilates makes me feel like eating the right things, because my body feels so good after a session that I don't want to go to McDonald's. I would rather just go one block down from the studio for a nice organic salad. I find that [doing Pilates] makes you feel like changing your diet. A lot of people will eat that other stuff because they are pressed for time or they're stressed. Both indicate an imbalance in your life. If your life is out of balance, the Pilates life probably won't appeal to you. If you are into Pilates, you are not going to be so stressed and might come in with your food. Bring an apple with you to encourage you to have healthier habits.
