These multi-play video poker machines have recently becoming more common across the United States. The multi-play poker machines allow you to not only choose between several different poker games, but to also play more than one hand at a time. These poker machines come in three, five, and ten hands of poker at once. No matter which type of machine you choose, the basic play is the same.

When you begin playing the multi-play video poker machine, you will need to first choose your game. Many times, the screen to choose your poker game will already be up. If not, then search for a spot on the screen that says "choose game", or something similar and press it (On most machines, you can touch the screen directly as well as use the buttons on the front of the poker machine). Several icons will appear on the screen. Simply touch the one corresponding to the poker game you wish to play. Common poker games are Joker's Wild, Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus, and Double Bonus.

Once you have chosen a poker game, a screen showing three, five, or ten hands of face-down cards will appear. You now must choose how much you will bet. Insert cash to use credits or put in tokens directly. In either case, you can bet up to five "coins" per hand. If a quarter machine, than your maximum bet on a five play poker machine is $6.50 (.25 x 5 hands x 5 per hand). The coins will be applied to each hand in order. You cannot play five coins on one hand, three on another, etc. As the first five credit/coins are applied, the first five hands will register one bet. Only on the sixth credit/coin will any hand register two credits/coins. This goes on up to a maximum of 25 credits/coins. Payout tables will appear on the left and/or right side of the screen as you bet.

Once you have bet, hit the deal/draw button. Five up cards will appear on the first hand only. All of the poker hands will play from the cards you hold from these five cards. Touch the screen or push the buttons to select the cards you want to hold. As you select, identical hold cards will appear in the remaining hands. Once you have chosen your hold cards, press the deal/draw button once more to draw. Each poker hand will be dealt different draw cards. For each hand that is a winner, the poker machine will indicate your winnings by a notice flashed on top of the winning hand.

You can play another hand in one of three ways: Press "Max bet" to bet five credits for each hand, continually press "bet one credit" until you have bet the desired amount, or insert coins until you are satisfied with your bet. Then press deal/draw to receive your next hand.

That's really all there is to it. Good luck!
