Sometimes that can be relatively simple process. First thing the representative of a company or the certified sun room technologist has to go out and see if the porch will qualify to be a sun room. Does it have a sub floor? Is it on concrete? Does it need support? Support and structure are very important because you must remember that the glass is very heavy. It is not like windshield glass and it carries a lot of weight with it, so you have to be able to make sure that the porch is structurally sound. Civil engineering-wise, it needs to be able to support the porch enclosure and then from there you simply will decide if you would want ceramic tile, carpeting or some other type of flooring. You would restructure the slab if it is an old time porch or adjust it accordingly and then fit the glass in with screens. Then you would have a completely remodeled porch with an enclosure.
