How to Put V CAST Songs on Your Computer

IWith V Cast songs on your computer you can listen to a wide variety of music from both your computer and your phone, if it has the V Cast music option. This is a service of Verizon Wireless phone service. The V Cast Music with Rhapsody software download provides a nice format for viewing, listening and changing the music on your computer. The software is very user friendly and easy to install.

V Cast Music with Rhapsody on Computer

Step 1

Go to Verizon's website and download the drivers for installing this program on your computer. You will be prompted to enter the brand of your cell phone and the model you use.
Step 2

Install the free software from the Verizon website. If you have just finished downloading the drivers, you will see a prompt for downloading the software. If all goes well and your software installs with no problems, you can move on to the next step. See step 5 if your download did not work.

Step 3

Connect your computer to your phone with a USB cable. If you did not get one when you purchased your phone, you can buy a music kit from Verizon for $29.99. It will include a headphone set, the USB cable, the CD with the drivers and software you need for the service.
Step 4

Download music to your computer from the VCast Music with Rhapsody site after signing up for an account with them. You can browse their collections for free but to download them on your computer you will need to pay per song or a monthly fee for unlimited access.
Step 5

If your online download was not successful, order the music kit from Verizon and install the software from the installation CD included. Follow the prompts until the program is running on your computer. Continue as outlined in Step 3 above.
