Step 1
Go online and visit the Verizon Wireless Website (link provided in References). There will be a link on the V Cast Music page to download software. Click on it and follow the instructions provided for your specific model of cell phone. Although the process is almost identical for every phone, Verizon has tailored the downloads to work specifically for your cell phone.
-
Step 2
Install the software on your computer. You will be prompted to do so after the download has finished. Some questions will be asked, such as where on your computer's drive do you want to install the program and if you want to run it or save it. Most of the time people will save it under the C drive and under "Programs" for easy organization.
-
Step 3
Open the software if it does not do so automatically and browse around to get a feel for how V Cast with Rhapsody works. There will be a link to go online and purchase a monthly package service or to buy songs individually. Use your Internet connection to browse the online library of songs. Once you have some songs in your library on V Cast on your computer, you can go to the next step.
-
Step 4
Connect your phone to your computer through the USB plug that came with your phone. Scroll through your phone menu to the Media Center page, click on "Music and Tones" and then "Sync Music." You will see a "Connecting...." message while it connects with your computer.
-
Step 5
Choose the songs on your computer that you would like to sync to your cell phone while your phone is plugged into your computer. Follow the prompts and within a few seconds, the list you generated will be available to listen to on your cell phone. You can listen to the V Cast songs on your computer as well, either through the built in speakers or through headphones.
