Pork Barbeque on the bun, a real treat to add to summer picnics. Made from a pork roast and a few simple ingredients.
Nothing tastes better than b-b-Q on the bun.
Ingredients:
- 4 lb. Pork roast
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 whole bottle of ketchup (20 oz.)
- 2 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. French's mustard
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- Worchshire sauce
*Cook pork roast for 4-5 hours in large cooking pot. When done (will be tender enough to pull apart) take out of pot. Keep back 1 1/2 cups of broth (stock) to add at the end. Pull apart with fork by shredding the meat. When all meat is shredded, put back in pot and add the 1 1/2 cups of broth you saved. Add onion, bottle of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, mustard, brown sugar. Cook slowly for another 1 1/2 hours.
Serve on buns. Delicious!
