Step 1
Follow the instructions in your Epson user manual and remove the ink cartridge from your printer. Place the cartridge on top of the paper towels.
-
Step 2
Turn the cartridge so that the Epson sticker label is facing upwards. Using the eyelet screw, create a small refill hole at the top of the cartridge. The hole should be located in the space between the edge and the Epson color circle. As you drill the hole, make sure the screw stays centered.
-
Step 3
Fill the syringe with 12 ml of ink. Insert the syringe needle into the hole you just created. Make sure the needle is deep inside the cartridge and slowly inject the ink. Stop when the cartridge is almost full.
-
Step 4
Remove the syringe and wipe the area around the filling hole clean. Insert the silicon plug into the refill hole. You may need to widen the hole slightly if the plug does not fit. Make sure that the plug creates an airtight seal.

Step 5
Follow the instructions that come with the chip resetter to reset your Epson cartridge. Insert the cartridge back into your printer.
