Step 1
Take the Lexmark 32 ink cartridge out of your printer and place it on top of paper towels.
-
Step 2
Using your drill, drill a small hole onto the bottom flat surface located at the top of the cartridge. Make sure to drill at least 1/3 of the way from the edge, around the "E" in the Lexmark name.
-
Step 3
Fill the syringe with 10 ml of ink. Completely insert the syringe needle into the hole you just drilled. The needle should reach the cartridge bottom.
-
Step 4
Carefully inject the ink very slowly into the cartridge. Make sure the ink does not overflow out of the hole.
-
Step 5
With the drilled hole facing up, hang the cartridge over paper towels for at least one hour. Excess ink will drip out of the bottom. Do not let the cartridge touch the paper towel.
-
Step 6
Return the cartridge to the printer. Following the instructions in your Lexmark printer manual, run the head-cleaning cycle several times before you begin to print.
