How to Refill Lexmark Colour P4350 Ink Cartridge

By Catherine Johnson

  • Overview

With household inkjet printers being used to handle a wide variety of heavy tasks--such as producing digital photographs and colorful graphic media--some users are replacing their color ink cartridges several times a year. Instead of purchasing an expensive new cartridge every time you run low on ink, it is far more cost-effective and better for the environment to simply refill your empty cartridge. You can easily refill the color ink cartridge in your Lexmark P4350 printer in just a few steps.
Quickly refill your Lexmark P4350 color ink cartridge.
    • Step 1

Turn on your printer and open the printer top. The ink cartridges should be in the center. Gently snap out the color ink cartridge from its holder and place it on the paper towels.
    • Step 2

Stick the edge of the sharp knife under the cartridge top in several areas. Pry the top from the rest of the cartridge.

    • Step 3

Insert the toothpick into each of the refilling holes underneath the top to find out which color belongs to which chamber.
    • Step 4

Fill the syringe with 5ml of ink. Completely insert the syringe needle into the hole that matches the ink color. Make sure the needle reaches to the bottom of the cartridge.
    • Step 5

Slowly inject the ink until the inside sponge is soaked. Remove the syringe and repeat the refilling steps for the other ink colors, using a new syringe with each color.
    • Step 6

Replace the cartridge top and securely tape it into place.
    • Step 7

Set the cartridge upright with the print head facing downward. Place the cartridge above the small cup for an hour to catch any drips.
    • Step 8

Replace the refilled cartridge in the holder inside of your Lexmark P4350 printer. Snap it securely into place, then close the printer top.
