At the beginning of the affair, it's not unusual for the spouse to be extremely affectionate to the partner out of guilt. As the affair continues, a cheating spouse will often be moody around his or her current family, finding fault particularly in the partner, and displaying intolerance, temperament or anger. If this is out of character for your spouse, it could be one indication that he or she is cheating. Different cologne, new hairstyles, purchases of intimate lingerie or even a new car, could mean that your spouse is seeing someone else. Although any one of these pointers could mean that your spouse just desires a change, combinations of these indicators could mean trouble. Other indications are a sudden loss in interest as to family affairs, an ever-changing work schedule, money missing from bank accounts, or unexplained credit card charges. Doing something new or different sexually is another sign that the mate might be no longer faithful.
Initially, the cheating spouse is often cautious about where and when to meet with the lover, but after awhile, they become more relaxed and begin making mistakes.
