We have a few local restaurants and several chains along with the regular run of the mill fast food establishments like McDonald's and Burger King. One of the best restaurants is our Boon Tavern, which has been a restaurant hotel since about 1909 and they have been known for their food and hospitality for almost a 100 years now. Boon Tavern is one of the oldest hotels on the National Registry of Historic Inns and it has 55 rooms. It's very unique in that most of the furniture in the hotel was made by the students of Berea College, who are taught by master craftsmen in wood working, blacksmithing, weaving, broom making and pottery. So the rooms are furnished with absolutely gorgeous furniture made by the wood-working department. It is pretty neat. It's a very unique place. We also have several bed-and-breakfasts in the area.
