Las Vegas is an exciting city with an extensive choice of restaurants and dining experiences. Be sure to try out some of their infamous buffets!
Las Vegas, Nevada is well known for many things. The casinos are at the top of the list of reasons people go to Vegas. Perhaps the wedding chapels for a fast marriage may be a big draw. In addition to those things, however, the fabulous food found all over town and on "the strip" is also a large component of what makes up one of the most exciting cities in America.
Visitors will find that many of the great restaurants and renowned Las Vegas buffets are located within the hotels and casinos. Be sure to do a bit of researching prior to your trip because this entertaining city has literally many hundreds of restaurants from which to choose. The Las Vegas buffets can be found serving at any time of day, and for any meal starting with breakfast. Be sure to arrive hungry!
One of the focal points in the Strip's landscape is the replica of the Eiffel Tower. The 11th floor is where diners will find the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. Motorcycle buffs may go to this restaurant for the memorabilia, but anyone dining at Las Vegas' Harley Davidson Cafe will enjoy the meal. In addition to their rather extensive list of cocktails, beers, and wines, the cafe offers a great menu of reasonably priced sandwiches and platters.
The appetizer menu includes quite a few items. A sampling of appetizers: Eggrolls; Buffalo Shrimp; Potato Skins with Chili; and Chicken Fingers. Sides include chili fries, nachos, and more. Soups and salads are on the menu as well.

Just a few of the items on the menu are Chicken Pot Pie; Macaroni and Cheese; Country Fried Steak; Homestyle Meatloaf; Southern Fried Chicken; Ribs; and Fajitas. Burgers, sandwiches, and wraps are available.

Hamada of Japan is a popular Las Vegas restaurant. Choose either the sushi bar or cocktail lounge. If you are looking for one of the top Mexican restaurants, try Dona Maria Tamales Restaurant. The tamales have been called the best in the business in various reviews, but of course there are many items on the menu in addition to the tamales. Dona Maria's serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Dinners are served with soup or salad, rice, and beans. Menu items include a long list of Enchiladas; Steak Ranchero; Tacos; Tamales (of course!); Burrito; Chimichangas; and

If your cuisine of choice for dinner is German food, try the Hofbrauhaus. In addition to the imported beer, the German / Bavarian food here is highly rated and very filling. Appetizer choices will range from Bavarian Potato Soup to Black Forest Westfalian Ham served with melon to the unique German Pancake Soup.
For a lighter dinner, you may want to choose a sandwich such as Riesenbratwurst (pork sausage on French bread served with onion mustard); a giant Bavarian Hamburger called Riesen Fleischpflanzerl; or a Schnitzel Sandwich.
If you want more than a sandwich, Hofbrauhaus offers many sausage specialties including Ofenfrischer Leberkas (Bavarian sausage loaf served with potato salad) and Chicken Bratwurst served with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, and onion mustard.
Fish and vegetarian dishes are available and the German chefs also offer specials that include the traditional dishes such as Wiener Schnitzel and Sauerbraten; Munich Pork Roast with dark beer sauce called Schweinebraten; Bavarian Beef Goulash with the same beer sauce, vegetables, and spatzle; and an Oktoberfest style stuffed chicken with beer butter and served with potato salad.
