Downtown Melbourne is a premier restaurant destination. There are at least 8 or 9 non-chain specialty restaurants that are privately run including Italian, Caribbean, and Tex-Mex. We have continental cuisine as well. Island Pasta is a spicy Caribbean pasta place in downtown Melbourne. Enjoy Café serves Tex-Mex. Meg O'Malley's is an Irish pub. We also have the Main Street Pub, which has four different bars and good food. On Tap is a sports bar downtown. For fine dining, we have The Chart House seafood restaurant. It's our only franchise in this area. You can usually get lunch around here for $6 or $7 and a dinner for $10 to $15. The Chart House is more expensive because they're a high-end chain. Most of our restaurants are locally owned and operated. You'll find food here by fine chefs that you can't get in other places.
