The Wild Sage, which is located at the Rusty Parrott Inn, has won many awards and is a four-star restaurant. There are several really good restaurants in Jackson Hole. The Wine Spectator voted Snake River Grill as Jackson's best restaurant. We have some excellent cuisine especially if you are looking for wild game and fish.
We have chains like McDonald's and Pizza Hut and Wendy's, but the majority of our eateries are little cafes and grills and that kind of thing.
We have some famous bars here, one is Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and another one that's known all over the world is Mangy Moose, it's kind of a hangout after you go skiing. They always have a live band and lots of good acts come through.
Jackson Hole is best known for our beautiful hat companies. There are also companies that sell leather products and furs. Jackson Hole Clothiers is my favorite store, very uniquely western. It's different from other western culture - it's leather, not the turquoise jewelry.
The only store we have that would be considered a chain would be K-Mart, so there are a lot of unique stores. We are a leading center of wildlife and western art. We carry the top names in western art around here in the galleries and at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. We have over 30 galleries, very well known. Legacy Gallery is one and Center Street Gallery is another.
