It really depends on your budget obviously and what kind of experience you are looking for. West Hollywood is known for probably some of the most famous restaurants in Los Angeles including historic restaurants from the 1940s- 1950s. There is The Hot dog Stand, which actually looks like a hot dog and that's great for greasier food like hot dogs. The other very popular hot dog location is Pink Hot Dog, which has been there since the 40s and is also popular for the hot dogs, as long as you can wait in line. It's kind of a place to be seen; celebrities go there. So it's a really popular place. Those are more casual places. As far as high end dining, there are place like Morton's, which is pretty high end. In Beverly Hills, we have a lot of high end restaurants like Spago. Trendy nightlife restaurants like the Tatana in Sunset which serves Japanese style skewered meat and seafood imported from Japan. At the Mandarin Hotel, they fuse Asian and Cuban foods to create some great fusion dishes. There are Russian restaurants, Mexican restaurants, and all kinds of Asian influenced Pan Asian restaurants. So really, it depends on the experience you are looking for, the scene and also the price range.
