Diet is very important. A lot of people in fact go to extreme diets where they cut out certain foods. I don't recommend that either, unless you have to. I am restricted to a high protein diet. If you are not restricted by your health, I recommend smaller quantities of various foods in order to assist in weight loss. I would also cross train. By cross training, we can get little bit further down the road with weight training. Our bodies learn habits and when we develop a habit of running, our body accommodates that habit and expects it and allows for it. So we want to constantly keep diversity going, so it's constantly challenged.
