Located approximately 15 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport in the town of Sunrise is the world's largest shopping outlet mall -- Sawgrass Mills. Encompassing approximately 2 miles, the facility contains over 300 specialty shops, two food courts, and numerous other restaurants and entertainment diversions.
Shaped to resemble an alligator, the mall is home to many name brand discounters and retail outlets including the JC Penney Outlet Store, Off 5TH Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet, The Sports Authority and Ron Jon Surf Shop. It is also home to an 18 cinema complex and some unique dining establishments such as the Hard Rock Café, The Cheesecake Factory, Wolfgang Puck Café, and Nathan's to name a few.
