Seaside Park is our local fair grounds, but it also serves as one of our largest meeting facilities when it is not fair time. Many groups stay in various hotels around town, but have their large assemblies in the meeting facilities there at Seaside Park. The park is on the beach and has amazing views and an amazing ambience because of that. It also happens to have an off track betting facility called the Ventura Derby Club. So when there are horse races going on elsewhere in the country, you can go there and bet on them.
The park also includes large outdoor public spaces, which are set up for exhibits during the fairs or for concerts.
