Step 1
Do your research. List all the amenities and possibilities your timeshare offers. This will keep you from underestimating and underselling the benefits of your timeshare. Call the place where you have your timeshare to see if they will send you some brochures or other types of information. You can use these brochures to either give to perspective buyers or just use the information in creating your own ads. Be sure to highlight all of the benefits in any ads you make.

Step 2
Price it right. Find out exactly what similar timeshares are going for, new and used. Be aware that timeshares in the exact same location and even of the same kinds can vary greatly in price, as timeshares can very much be a negotiated purchase, even new. When you know what people are willing to pay new and have paid used, then you can price your timeshare below those prices to help it move faster. You will likely have to sell your timeshare much below what you paid for it, and maybe even significantly below what others are selling theirs for, if you want it to move quickly.

Step 3
Sell it online. Try listing your item on eBay. Use all of the bells and whistles that eBay offers to make your listing stand out. Use featured listing, bold, highlighting, colored frames and everything else. If eBay doesn't work, try listing on other popular sites such as Craigslist. In conjunction with these online services, mention your timeshare for sale on social apps like Facebook and MySpace (see Resources below).
