Step 1
Turn on the unit, and wait for the screen to display the "CREDIT.....SALE, ACCOUNT ?" prompt.

Press the MENU/ESC key to bring up the programming menu. The screen should now say "MENU SCREEN: 1. REPORTS".

Press 5. The display should now read "SYSTEM OPTIONS 1. SET TIME/DATE."

Press the ENTER key. The unit will display the date and time currently set in the machine. If you're using the machine for the first time or if power was completely lost to the unit, the time will show 12:00 and the date will show 00/00/00.

Press ENTER again. This puts the unit in date/time set mode, and it will read "SETTING DATE:
MM/DD/YY."

Type in the date using the MM/DD/YY format.

Note that the unit should now automatically display, "SETTING TIME:HH:MM:00". You must set the time each time you set the date, even if only the date is incorrect.

Set the time using 24-hour or "military" time.

Step 9
Verify that the correct date and time are set when the unit automatically displays the new settings after you have entered the time.

Step 10
Press ENTER three times to exit the settings menu.
