Ten times a month or two and a half times a week.

You know if you can get on Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday schedule and then pop in on Saturdays when you can. I think for the average person thinking about making it to the black belt in about five years, if they commit to 2 or 3 times a week consistently, watch what they eat, train a little bit on their own, stay in decent shape, pay attention, they can make it to black belt in 4-5 years.


You know the other thing is that you got a child who is going to have a practice a couple of nights a week doing other things. People have other commitments. So if I were talking to a police officer I would tell him to get in there five times a week for you know 3-6 months and really start to develop some skills. Get it into your muscle memory because you are going to need it.




If I was looking at the average housewife that wants to lose a little weight may be to learn defend herself and meet some people in the afternoon class to get out of the house, I would say 2 or 3 times a week.
