Before, as a physical therapist, I would have told you that you need to work each body area separately and then add an aerobic or cardiovascular activity. But after owning a gym that offers circuit training where we do both cardiovascular and overall body work, I have seen results where ladies have lost anywhere from 5-8 inches overall by incorporating the whole body. Any circuit training program where you work on the treadmill and then do weights and then go back to a bike so that you are doing a cardiovascular and weight training routine at the same time I believe has the best results in toning and overall weight loss. I see so many ladies here within a month saying, "Wow, I'm noticing a big difference, my thighs are decreasing...my waist has gone down, my pants are fitting better" and that's just in a month of working out three times a week for 30 minutes at a time on this type of program. If more people could do that we would have lot of people happier with their bodies.
