Spots, light yellow, tan or translucent spots on whites or light colored fabrics, dark or oily on dark colored fabrics, can occur when direct contact between liquid fabric conditioner and fabric. Direct contact can occur by opening the washer during the spin cycle allowing the product to release too soon from the dispenser or spilling liquid fabric conditioner on the agitator post or other surfaces. If there are one or two spots, rub with Ivory bar soap, rinse, and rewash. If spots are on several items, pre-treat with Ivory bar soap or with detergent with a bleach alternative, rinse and rewash in the hottest water safe for the fabric using twice the recommended amount of detergent. Repeat if needed.
